Are you interested in applying to our program? Know someone who is? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Applications are open from April 10 to May 28 and we want to arm you with as much ammunition as possible to submit a strong application. Below are 3 things that you can do to jumpstart the process.
1. Fill out our pre-application: The first step is to complete Elemental Excelerator’s pre-application. On April 10, you’ll receive an email to your inbox containing a link to our online application.
2. Read through our 2018 Cohort Applicant Package: Please review the Applicant Package before applications open. It contains our process, key dates, what we look for in due diligence, and links to dive deeper into various aspects of our program. A couple of our favorite pages are below.
3. RSVP for a Pre-Application Workshop and/or an Online Q&A: If you have any questions about our process and how you can strengthen your application, mark the key dates listed below on your calendar. You can RSVP for upcoming events here.
Bonus tip: Keep your ear to the ground. Know what’s going on in Hawaii and Asia Pacific markets. Our top applicants have done their homework! Here are a few materials to get you started: the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative, Blue Planet’s 2016 Energy Report Card, the State Energy Office’s Hawaii Energy Facts and Figures, and background on our Global Partners (we’ve just signed a new one!).
