Elena is EEx’s Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) advocate who supports the ongoing vision of student success for Hawai’i’s K-12 learners, and oversee EEx’s student internship program that contributes to strengthening our workforce pipeline for a knowledge-based economy.
Prior to Elemental Excelerator
Prior to Elemental Excelerator, Elena served on Kamehameha Schools’ Strategy & Innovation team working on Hālau ʻīnana ma Kapa’akea, the Schools’ first innovation hub in Mōʻiliʻili. She also served on Kamehameha Schools’ Innovation team developing community and program partnerships across the state towards advancing their collective impact and organizational sustainability.
Elena received a B.S. in Telecommunications from Pepperdine University and is pursuing her MBA in Nonprofit Management from Chaminade University. She serves on several nonprofit boards with missions focused on culture and language education, social justice, and civic engagement. Board affiliations include:

Elena is a true blue Ka‘imukī townie and an aficionado of 80’s rap lyrics. Outside of the office you’ll find her scouring the streets and social media for the best homegrown fashion Polynesia has to offer, with her daughter in tow.
