Ileana serves as the Equity & Access Project Manager at Elemental Excelerator where she supports the strategic development, management, and evaluation of processes that align with the principles of equitable practices.
Prior to Elemental Excelerator
Ileana was raised in Wai’anae on the island of O’ahu. She is committed to the cultivation of a rich diversity of voice and perspectives — that envision and energize opportunities for community well-being.
Prior to joining the team, she supported resource and strategy management towards optimizing community outcomes in education and workforce development. This work has spanned the private, public and non-profit sectors — including Kamehameha Schools, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and the Institute of Native Pacific Education & Culture.
Outside of the office
Ileana spends time supporting community non-profits that serve ‘aina (place), mo‘omeheu (culture), ‘ohana (families), and kaiaulu (community). She also loves the ocean, backyard jam sessions, karaoke and creativity of all shapes and sizes.
