Tyler develops and manages strategic partnerships with businesses and investors grounded in Hawaiʻi to serve and grow the State’s innovation economy.

In addition to Elemental Excelerator

Tyler serves on the Board of the Native Hawaiian Bar Association and as President of the William S. Richardson School of Law Alumni Association.  Previously, he championed the rights of the indigent and underserved as a Public Defender on Oʻahu for four and a half years. Tyler has also served as a political consultant and volunteered on several local campaigns. He holds a J.D. and an additional certificate in Native Hawaiian Law from the William S. Richardson School of Law.  He also holds a B.A. in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Outside of the office

Tyler spends his time combing the Internet for book and music recommendations, traveling, and eating (preferably while traveling).
