Zero Mass Water Piloted A New Business Model
Zero Mass Water piloted its new water-as-a-service business model through Elemental’s Demonstration Track. The company partnered with Queensland-based Waddi Springs to bottle drinking water produced by Zero Mass’ SOURCE Hydropanels, which extract water vapor from the air to make, mineralize, and deliver drinking water. Buoy Was Acquired By Resideo
After joining our portfolio, Buoy was acquired by Resideo, a smart home company under the Honeywell portfolio. Buoy's Demonstration project involves installing 75 whole-home water control devices in households across Oahu where sewer capacity is being evaluated. In partnership with the Board of Water Supply and Honeywell, the company will aggregate customer data to help understand Hawaii residential water use and lay the foundation to create water conservation programs.Buoy Labs >
Kando Is Entering A New Market
Kando’s sensors and analytics system helps water utilities pinpoint in real time the sources of pollution in wastewater networks. Through Elemental’s Equity & Access track, Kando is deploying its technology for the first time in California, a leader in the area of wastewater reuse. Tracing pollution events back to the source puts polluters on notice and improves the overall quality of wastewater networks, which is especially impactful in frontline communities experiencing disproportionate levels of pollution and water stress.Kando >
