A shipping vessel on the ocean

The Clean Maritime Challenge

Apply for an opportunity to work with Technip Energies to accelerate the decarbonization of the maritime transportation industry and enable the total annual greenhouse gas emissions from deep-sea transportation to reach net zero by 2050. A typical pilot for emerging technologies starts at $50K in non-dilutive funding.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

What is Technip Energies looking for?

Net-zero Maritime Shipping Solutions

Maritime shipping is the backbone of the global economy, with skyscraper-sized vessels carrying more than 80% of the world’s goods across the sea. Moving all those goods comes at a high environmental cost, releasing an estimated gigaton of CO2-equivalent gases into the atmosphere each year.

To accelerate the decarbonization of the maritime transportation industry, Technip Energies is looking to collaborate with innovators from around the world to pilot low-carbon or zero-carbon fuels and emissions measurement and management solutions for large-scale cargo ships, cruise ships, etc.

These solutions must enable the total annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from deep-sea transportation to reach net zero by 2050, as laid out in the 2023 International Maritime Organization (IMO) GHG Strategy, while also improving efficiency and reducing operating expenses.
