Heather manages the financial aspects of philanthropic and government grants, working closely with the Development team and program managers to support the program budget process, grant compliance, and general financial operations. She is deeply committed to understanding the intersections of health, social justice and the environment.
Prior to Elemental Excelerator
Heather worked at the Environmental Defense Fund, the Association of Bay Area Governments and UC Berkeley doing grant and budget management. She is an alumna of San Francisco State University, with Master’s Degrees in Sustainable Business and Accounting, as well as an undergraduate degree in Finance and International Business.
Outside of the office
Heather likes to cook, garden, swim and do volunteer work.
