Laith focuses on Elemental’s pipeline of climate tech startups and companies–working on deal flow, pipeline strategy, and due diligence.
Prior to Elemental Excelerator
Laith supported investment research and analysis at Sound Ventures’ sustainability offshoot, SOUNDWaves, working across various sectors to identify and assess exciting opportunities. Before SOUNDWaves, Laith collaborated with the Space4Good team in partnership with the European Space Agency on satellite-based biomass estimation projects located in Southeast Asia and Africa. Him and a few of his co-workers from Space4Good recently qualified for XPRIZE with their deforestation detection tool.
Laith holds a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Economics from the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University.
Outside of the office
He is happiest skiing with college friends in Colorado or surfing around the Bay Area.
